Sehr spannend, vor allem die letzten 20%.

Sehr authentisch. Könnte mir schon so ähnliche Szenarien (zumindest mittelfristig) vorstellen.

Da ich jetzt bei einem Energieanbieter arbeite, war das Buch natürlich besonders interessant für mich.

Tried to read it on my kindle but there was too much code to be good readable. He explained every technology in detail but I was not interested in that. It's definitely a good idea to work through it with an example project on your own.

Liu Cixin, Ken Liu, Joel Martinsen: Three-Body Problem Series (2017, Doherty Associates, LLC, Tom)

Review of 'Three-Body Problem Series' on 'Goodreads'

Hard to understand. I had to switch to the German version, which was a little bit easier for me. The last third or so was exciting but the two thirds at the start were very confusing, especially due to the Chinese names.

I wouldn't have followed thru if I haven't heard from several people that the book was extremely good.

We shouldn’t give any shiny rectangular device so much power.

Attention without intention is wasted energy.

Being busy doesn’t make us productive. It doesn’t matter how busy we are if that busyness doesn’t lead us to accomplish anything of importance. Productivity is not about cramming more into our days but about doing the right thing in each moment.

Interesting idea of having moving cities and consider them superior over static cities.
I would have loved to dig deeper into the differences between these different aspects of philosophies.

The book didn't make me want to start the next one immediately but I will probably read it at some point in time.
