This book was a ton of fun and took me back to my early days of computing; late 70s, early 80s, as well as the Atari 2600 days. No spoiler about the plot but note that the movie glossed over the relationship of the main characters, it was really a let down, but the book? One of my favorites, so fun.
Hier fühlt sich jeder Computer Nerd wohl. Eine schöne Geschichte mit Happy End aus der IT-Welt.
On rereading this I found a lot less satisfaction. Its a cute adventure.

To be honest it's been a while since I read the book so don't expect a full in depht review. Sorry.
I liked it, quite a lot indeed. I also enjoy playing video games and 90% of the action occours on a video game. I think that, as always, the book is quite superior compared to the movie.
In conclussion: I recomend it if you like cifi stuff.

Absolutely great book about the 80s, video games, movies, music and more. You will love it, even if you weren't part of that time.

Großartige Geschichte. Den großen Teil des Buches als Hörbuch gehört.
Die Verfilmung ist ja leider eine riesen Enttäuschung. Habe das Buch erneut gehört um auf Teil zwei vorbereitet zu sein.

Ok, I finished 80% of the book within one day. I couldn't put it away. There are a lot of mysterious and riddles in it which make it stay exciting.
And I am looking forward to the movie which starts next week.

Great fun. Definitely not without its flaws but damn, did I enjoy it.
