This is a wonderful and thought provoking book about a man who thinks that is split in two parts: a middle-class persona and the so-called Steppenwolf - an animalistic persona representing the counter-pole of the middle class one. Each persona mocks the other and makes fun of typical his behavior.
This book contains a second book which in a strange twist of plot tells the story of the protagonist Harry.
