Recently moved here from bookwyrm.social.Trying to explore a wide range of literature, especially fiction. All periods and genres, with a preference for postmodern literature and science fiction. When I read english books, my comments and reviews will be in english as well.

Trotzdem dringende Leseempfehlung.

I'm deeply moved by this novel. Some scenes in this book are really hard to bear. But its language is so strong and so beautiful in its coarseness, and the characters are so real and deeply tragic and unforgettable. Wow.

This was incredibly exciting, I couldn't put it away. It's a kind of thriller with some horror elements, but it's also much more than that. The way it is written is unique. I can't tell you more without giving to much away.

This was fun. Once I found out, that the storyline was derived from a Doctor Who Episode Adams had written, I couldn't get the fact off my mind again. Nevertheless, it's a very accomplished storyline, perhaps a bit too complex an fast-paced in the end, because when I had finished it, I wasn't able to tie up all the loose ends without consulting a summary. A book you best read twice.
