The Dungeon Anarchist's Cookbook

Matt Dinimann gelingt etwas, was nur wenige Autoren schaffen: Gleichbleibende Qualität bei noch wilderen Ideen. Wir folgen wieder Carl und Princess Donut, diesmal in den vierten Level: Ein hirnverdrehendes Ubahn-Netz gefüllt mit Monstern. Aber nicht nur Monster, auch andere Crawler werden zur Gefahr. Der Autor schafft es, alles noch spannender zu gestalten, mehr Drama, aber auch mehr Sozialkritik unter zu bringen. Das ist alles eingebettet in absurde Einfälle ( Ghoulpflug-Zug!) und absolut lesenswert.

So this is "just" more of the same from the DDC series. But it's still so fun to read, it's still hilarious and unique in places, but overall it has fewer powerful moments than the two before. That said, I just ordered the 4th book because by god I'm hooked.

The iron tangle is not my favorite floor but it is definitely unique and 100% fun. With each book, we are learning more about the story and universe. The various dynamics, existing concepts introduced, etc. All come together and creates a nice large overarching story. The characters are great. Can't wait to read more. I am def hooked. World building and audio quality are top notch!!
