Okay, I know DDC is literary junk food but hear me out. It is also attempting something novel and it's a freaking great attempt. This is a fresh twist on LitRPG and filled with a seemingly endless pool of ideas. Part four continues with strong character development and also dives deeper into the world that created the dungeon. On many evenings I struggled to put the book down. Towards the end I was literally screaming into my pillow.
Other than that I just have another minor thought I'd like to share: the first book felt like it didn't go through a thorough review process. The story was amazing but there was quite an intense amount of misspellings and some plot holes. Anyway, turns out, that feeling wasn't inaccurate: DDC was originally self published. This book (#4) is the first one of the series that feels really well …
