I didn't read the prequel books first, the series is very confusing when it comes to reading order. But it was amazing to be back in the world of the Witcher. Just very fun to read.

Thought provoking dialogue, but many flaws

The dialogue between the main characters is thought provoking and touches on many philosophical questions. But the racism and especially the constant sexism make it hard to read sometimes. And pretty much none of the plot goes anywhere.
