Dieser Teil weckt etliche Herr der Ringe Assoziationen. Fulminanter Abschlussband, mit leichten Schwächen. Einige Handlungsstränge fransen stellenweise aus. Aelins Alleingänge und Geheimniskrämereien werden überstrapaziert. Hier und da etwas konstruiert. Die Abschlussdialoge mit den Bösewichten unglaubwürdig inszeniert. Das Ende driftet kurz in alberne Jugendbuchmanier ab. Doch all diese Kleinigkeiten verblassen im Angesicht des epischen Gesamtwerks. Es bleibt meine Lieblingsreihe aus diesem Genre.
