Auch nach der Trilogie schafft Asimov es, ohne viel Action, eine spannende Story zu liefern.
Nachdem die beiden Foundations scheinbar ein stabile Equilibrium erreicht haben, regt sich eine neue Macht und alles droht zu kippen.
