a quick read about World Central Kitchen but the best part is food, food, food
Although it discusses his pretty amazing humanitarian efforts, and discussion of the political challenges and on-the-ground approaches is interesting, this short combination memoir and advice (management and life) book is at its most enjoyable talking about food and recounting how he became a chef, his fascination and delight in cuisine from all over and from all walks of life is evident, and fittingly the book ends with a few recipes. I could do without the "make a decision and don't worry about the consequences!" tips, that's really just a rephrasing of "move fast and break things!" - that sounds great or terrible depending who's saying it and who you admire and what disasters you're willing to conveniently forget.
