Frida of Hamelin

Hamelin, 1283/4 – Frida has buried her husband and children. Now she clings to the only thing she has left: her shoemaker's workshop – until Marek is forced upon her as a journeyman. The young stranger is searching for his roots: his mother Svanhild once disappeared from Hamelin under cover of night.
