Ich erwarte von Dan Brown ja nicht viel, aber einen Taschenrechner sollte er doch wohl bedienen können?

"Inzwischen bewegt er sich sehr schnell, mit über sechzehn Kilometern pro Sekunde– knapp zehntausend Kilometer po Stunde." - 16km/s sind ganze 57600 km/h

Der Milne-Gletscher ist etwa 5000km von Whashington entfernt. Kein Problem mit den 2400km/h der F-14, nur dass bei dem Tempo eine Luftbetankung nicht möglich ist. Das ist schlecht, da das Ding nur eine Reichweite von 3220 km hat. Für den Rückweg wird auch nicht getankt...

Ein Brocken mit drei Metern Durchmesser hat ein Volumen von über 14000 Litern. Mit acht Tonnen wäre er also gut halb so schwer wie Wasser... Ist aber aus Stein.. Sollte also mindestens 45 Tonnen haben.

Und sehr viel mehr.

Ansonsten das übliche Dan-Brown-Verschwörungsgedöns nach üblichem Dan-Brown-Standardrezept.
Nach ungefähr der Hälfte des Romans wird das ganze auch noch langweilig, so dass ich nach etwa vierhundert Seiten …
