Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon

This review (like all reviews really) is highly subjective. Here's my bias: I have always struggled with stories where kids get hurt in some way and what that does to their families. Here a nine year old girl gets lost in the woods and is confronted with her own paranoia, hunger, thirst, sickness, and a dreadful predator.

The overall plot follows similar principles to the plots of Misery or Gerald's Game. The writing is strong throughout and immersive.
