Personally I loved it. There were moments that bore me sure, but they were short-lived before the book pulls me in again laser focused because the story gives you that edge-of-your-seat feeling. I wish there were more to the ending and I wish there more pages to this book. I can't wait to watch this book in theatres!
Als riesen Fan der Panem Trilogie war das Prequel natürlich Pflicht.
Die ersten beiden Akte waren überragend und ich war wieder angefixt. Begeistert von den Figuren und Collings Art die Geschichte aufzubauen.
Der dritte Abschnitt, allerdings war so langatmig und Coriolanus Snow abrupter Sinnes bzw. Charakterwandel viel zu schnell und gravierend. Seine dauernde Eifersucht, Paranoia und am Ende sein opportunes Verhalten schwer zu ertragen.
Als Prequel hätte ich mehr zum Krieg oder den Entwicklungen zu den "aktuellen" Spielen erwartet, auch wenn hier schon viel Zeit für kam.
