Ein Buch über Unterdrückung und Befreiung

Ich muss gestehen, dass ich mir was ganz anderes unter dem Buch vorgestellt habe. Es spielt größtenteils in den 50er 60er Jahren in einer gutbürgerlichen Kleinstadt in Wisconsin. Und die Geschichte erzählt von Mysogenie und den unschönen Umgang damit. Diese Unterdrückung bricht sich in Gestalt von Drachinnen bahn. Die Metapher von Drachen für viele unterdrückte Gruppen ist echt stark. Manchmal tut ein wenig Wut ganz gut.
