A Great Entry into a Supernatural Tetralogy

The worldbuilding is great, characters have tremendous depth and are easy to relate to, and the narrative is crisp and succinct. Due surprised me with the story's near ending, and I snagged a copy of the sequel immediately. If you enjoy stories about immortals (or vampires, but with a twist), I recommend giving this one a go. There's suspense, domestic thriller elements, and a fair amount of passion (both in and out of the bedroom).
