Simplistic Positivity Pointers Given by a Quaint but Adorable Skeleton

I was first introduced to Mr. Skelly on Instagram and was pleased to see this book pop up on NetGalley. The illustrations are beautiful and exactly what I expected. The content of the book, however, could have been elevated a little more. While the themes are important, the narrative never strayed from surface-level emotions and self-improvement mantras. If Watson delved a little deeper, dared to use Mr. Skelly to skirt heavier themes, the book would have become more than nice art with simplistic ideas.

Thank you to Ten Speed Press and NetGalley for the advanced copy.
